About The Projects
This shop insulation project focused on applying spray foam across the metal roof deck and upper wall sections of a large working space.
The finished installation creates continuous coverage throughout the overhead building envelope while leaving the exposed steel framing visible. With the roofline insulated, the shop is better prepared for year-round use in changing temperatures.
Commercial buildings often involve more coordination than a standard open-framing installation. Insulation must be placed around structural members, mechanical systems and electrical pathways while maintaining coverage across the ceiling assembly.
For this project, fiberglass batt insulation was installed across the overhead framing to help support interior comfort and long-term building performance. The completed work provides the thermal layer needed before the remaining interior construction and finish work can move forward.
