About The Projects
This specialty insulation project required spray foam coverage throughout the inside of a metal container structure, including the walls, ceiling and transitions around installed openings.
Spray foam was applied directly to the metal interior surfaces, creating a continuous insulated enclosure throughout the space. The finished application follows the structure’s corrugated walls and ceiling while providing consistent coverage from end to end.
Metal container structures can be difficult to insulate effectively because the walls and ceiling are exposed metal surfaces with repeating ridges, corners and transitions. Spray foam is well suited for this type of application because it conforms to the structure and provides continuous insulation coverage across the interior surfaces.
For this project, the completed spray foam installation helped turn an exposed metal interior into a more usable insulated space. The application covers the surrounding envelope while accommodating the doors and windows already incorporated into the structure.
